Apple CEO Apologizes for Maps

In a press release released Friday Apple CEO, Tim Cook, apologized for the discontent caused by the latest update to Maps in its newest iOS software.
  He said Apple is working to improve the software but until then offers alternatives for consumers including Bing, Mapquest and even the ousted Google maps via adding a link to the homepage.
  Google posted instructions on Google+ for users to add maps to their iPhone homepages.

Apple also removed claims Maps is "the most beautiful, most powerful, most powerful mapping service ever." from its website.
